If at this point in your journey, the fatigue of being dragged through life’s terrain has bullied you enough, then you should have come to the understanding that it is time to trust yourself over the external signals you have been conditioned to believe as helpful to orient your life. To exist as a creative being without having imprinted the world around you, is to die slowly; & to forget what the divine sincerely wishes you would remember.
We all came here with a channel of production to flip inside out. The thoughts that frequently run through your mind are not an accident. They are your stream of valuable novelty that if organized & distributed, can change the course of history. But not if you don’t believe they will & keep the arrangement of visions & words to yourself due to lack of trust in their gravity.
So what if no one applauses for your work within days or weeks of its release? If you’ve crafted a timeless work of art, then it will be uncovered by those who its meant for throughout the passage of time. If you are building an archive for revisit & review, as opposed to a magazine for instant gratification, then it matters not if its produced & sent straight into the void to be revealed honorably by a lucky recipient. & anyway, if you do not trust the longings of your heart, to simply act on what brings you life, then you will slowly be molded by the strength of another who did. That other whose conviction rules you from within & has brought your location to a note far beyond the one that resides at home.
To go around the point of you existing, is to abide by the hypnotic spin of society’s wheel instead of the clarity of it’s axis. Which is you. In every individual’s experience, the center of civilization is themselves is it not? This is not a claim to narcissism. This is a fact of all of our existential positions. Sunrise & sunset happen within you. The magnetism & repulsion that’s crafted your destiny thus far happen within you. The incessant advertisements of culture to contort your own self image to fit within the agenda of a corporation happen within you. The seat of your experience, where all perceptions, & executive decisions are made is intimately available to you before, during, & after you read this text. This understanding will design an authentic persona forged from the depths. If you stay with it.
A character that emerges silently from the core is far more potent than one that mimics the sounds you consumed upon the surface. Once you strive to trust what naturally appears from yourself, you will have developed the pathway of self trust. Know that it is a skill which requires effort. Just like when you learned to walk & you stumbled but didn’t quit & eventually created an efficient pathway in your brain to where you can now run; the same law applies for self trust. You may fall off the horse of your inner knowing, but you can get back on again & again until it becomes second nature to ride your inner wild. To embrace the primordial untamed energy the universe has entrusted you form into something useful; or at least enjoyable.
When this skill is developed in your thought & feeling, no force in the universe can break it besides your own forgetfulness: a dismemberment that’s caused by identifying with the intellect. To have a sharp mind is magnanimous gift from the creator, but when you confuse it to be yourself, you will chop your being into fragments & the power to wield your vessel consciously will disperse along with it. It’s like a holding a knife without a handle which becomes a self administered weapon that continually cuts without discernment. In this state, there is no opportunity to transform the course of your life because the master operating system has become the slave. The attention has taken a backseat to be swept away by an overactive pattern of mental activity.
So when I say trust your self, I mean to trust the real you. Awareness. The one who holds the intellect & the world’s events in place to begin with. The acceptance of this alone will elevate you into a position beyond the endless traps of obeying ideas that do not serve your expansion. You will be able to receive thoughts from within & from others & evaluate instead of absorb. Now, what you once saw as commands are clearly seen as suggestions. In this, you have choice. & in choice you have put the reigns back in your possession to set yourself free. The question becomes then, where do you wish to go?
