A person’s real level of commitment to their adventure, spiritual understanding, & practice is revealed not when their material resources are abundant, but when they are scarce. Will you panic & act in a hurry to “fix” your situation, or pause & listen for how the kingdom within desires you to behave that will deliver you to the source of your problem? Do you have faith that the Spirit you serve is inherently rich, & will therefore lead you to riches on Earth, or do your urgent doubts cause you to abandon patience? The charity of emotional fortitude that you offered to those in need while you were lucrative, does this continue when your harvest season comes to a close? All this & more will be displayed when your pockets run thin. Know that the one born to exist like royalty who behaves like a pawn will disrupt their natural signal, & confuse themself into the quick sand of poverty. But even the one born into the captivity of pawnhood who learns to behave like royalty will in their future correct themself into the rising tides of wealth.
If you find your current of funds are heading towards a drought, realize that a blessing is having work to complete, & recognizing which is the most significant. Whatever we earn from the dense to subtle is all given through the irrefutable law of equivalent exchange: that you must lose something of equal value in order to gain. Why then, if you desire the lifestyle of your dreams do you spend even an ounce of your divinely gifted energy on the pitfalls of entertainment when it delivers you nowhere? Why do you plead for the winds of new opportunity to meet your sails if you have not dared travel to strange waters? Why do you long to walk through the walls of a castle that takes decades to erect if you only have the will to wait for a shed that can be built in an afternoon? You must question yourself what are the coordinates of your destiny & do you have the focus to go the distance; especially when the fuel you burned during your journey thus far is seducing you to quit. If inspiration is what sparked your mission, then understand it is also inspiration that sent each obstacle to prove you are capable of even being the person who could carry out the task. Do not deceive yourself into believing that this dualistic world will come without challenge; as it is the other side of reward’s coin.
The trees that grow to great heights only do so because their wood was met with strong winds which caused their roots to dive deeper into the Earth. It is because of our ability to move freely across the ground that we forget to depend upon its rejuvenation when times are hard. Your first instinct may be to flee, but truly, the wiser choice is to deepen so you have the fortitude to brave the inevitable storms that will come to greet you. & within this decision to dive rather than to escape, you will have gained the key to completing any great work: Self respect. This is the state where the Spirit smiles from within you simply due to acknowledging what animates the entire play. & this is what provides the Grace to let you pass to the next level. Man cannot live on bread alone. We must also be nourished by the power that created the bread to begin with. In the temple of solitude, this sacred flame will emerge & light the way forward. No matter how many dimes you have in your chest right now, this spiritual behavior will provide not the resources you want, but exactly the ones you need to keep going. The full treasure you are owed by blending faith with works will arise when the work is done.
